I received a nice offer on the M246 I had and sold it along with a 50mm Summicron and 28mm Elmarit.  I replaced that kit with a new Q2M at no additional cost to me.  I liked the M246 but thought it lacked in some areas, but the upgrade was mostly to get the higher resolution and auto-focus of the Q2M.  I already have a Q2 and had tried doing B&W to color conversions and also shooting B&W jpg.  Those images were okay, and I could get almost "there" but a Q2M was really the only way to get monochrom DNG files and have auto-focus in addition to having better low-light capabilities.

In a way I thought it might be redundant having both the Q2 & Q2M but while they look similar to each other, they really are very different cameras.  I look forward to getting out there and putting this through the paces and with already having the Q2 getting used to the Q2M should be easy.
