kyeo Posted May 1, 2023 Share #1 Posted May 1, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello! Anyone own and use the Peak Design Everyday Sling 3L V2? What opinions do you deserve? I am thinking of buying it, but I would like to ask you about your experience. Is it too big to carry a Leica Q? Is a bag too bulky? I currently carry my Leica Q in a Billingham Digital Hadley Bag, but would like something that doesn't look like a camera bag.. I look forward to your comments, and thanks in advance!
Advertisement Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 Hi kyeo, Take a look here Peak Design Everyday Sling 3L V2 for Leica Q. Good choice? . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
maidenfan84 Posted May 1, 2023 Share #2 Posted May 1, 2023 I don't have any experience with using a Q2 with it, but I carry my TL2 and Xpro 3 in it every single day. I find it to be very comfortable and just the right size. It's certainly not bulky at all in my opinion and it doesn't scream camera bag, either. I have the grey color and couldn't be happier with it.

Le Chef Posted May 1, 2023 Share #4 Posted May 1, 2023 Yes. I use it with my Q2. Space for spare battery, charger, memory cards etc.

I use it often with my Q2. Fits snugly and as Le Chef says, room for batteries etc. I sometimes also use the straps to carry a travel tripod underneath the bag.
shuttershaz Posted May 2, 2023 Share #6 Posted May 2, 2023 I actually just got the Peak Design Everyday Sling 3L yesterday for my Q2. Works great. Has tons of extra room for batteries, SD cards, straps, etc
fumigatus Posted May 2, 2023 Share #7 Posted May 2, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) At first I thought the PD sling was just another strap (I have used a PD strap with my Q2 for years), but understand now it is a small bag. No experience with it, but got a MegaGear Torres recently. I assume its a little bigger, but also a small bag. Really works perfectly for me. Space for phone, sunglasses, cheaters, SD cards, extra battery etc. And the camera. Perfect! I simply attached the strap that came with the Q2 (simple, slim leather). Much better solution than the relatively bulky, adjustable PD strap I’ve used imo.
mhasman Posted May 2, 2023 Share #8 Posted May 2, 2023 V1 launched in 2016; V2 in 2019/2020. So Peak Design might release V3 anytime soon
oldsalt Posted May 3, 2023 Share #9 Posted May 3, 2023 I use the 5 litre size for a lot of my travels in Europe... works very well, you can fit so much more in there besides the Q2 yet it's still a small bag to carry. cheers
Koos Posted May 3, 2023 Share #10 Posted May 3, 2023 (edited) I own a Q2M since a week and have a Billingham 72 in Kakhi. Love it, nice and small just what I wanted. Edited May 3, 2023 by Koos
Versatile Posted May 11, 2023 Share #11 Posted May 11, 2023 I use the Peak Design Everyday Sling 3L for the Q2, the SF 40 flash, four spare AA batteries, light modifiers, two additional camera batteries, four memory cards, and lens cleaning fluid/pads/brush. It's packed full. Zippers close fine. I've mounted a Capture Clip on the bag and a plate on the Q2. The bag - about the size of a fat fanny pack - is well-designed. It has handles, straps, and loops where you would need them. The zippers and fabric are robust. It's easy to carry and has everything I need for a day's shooting with the Q2. There's a divider that you can configure. I use it to provide padding between the camera and flash, and split one side of the bag into a lower and upper compartment (flash on top, accessories below). I've owned the 20L Peak Design Everyday Backpack for about six years. It's a workhorse for a decent Nikon 850 kit (~20 lbs) and still looks new. jmc014 Posted May 11, 2023 Share #12 Posted May 11, 2023 I have one for my Q2 and it fits like a glove, even with the lens hood! There are also two small side pockets on each side, so I slide in my extra batteries in there.
jmc014 Posted May 11, 2023 Share #13 Posted May 11, 2023 (edited) I will say, though, that the thickness of the Sling V3 is more significant than a typical crossbody bag. Not like super bulky to the point of obviously being a camera bag, but still pretty thick. You would need the thickness for the lens of the Q2. Edited May 11, 2023 by jmc014 addition.
