s b t Posted April 25, 2023 Share #1 Posted April 25, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi dear M community, I have been using my TTL M6 happily since years. I also have been using the SF24D flash with it. THOUGH does anyone has any experience or recommendations for a TTL camera off-shoe cord to be used with a M6 and TTL flash? Would still love to make use of the TTL function. Thanks so much! Best wishes, Ben

Anbaric Posted April 25, 2023 Share #2 Posted April 25, 2023 (edited) I haven't done this, but supposedly Nikon-compatible cables work: Edited April 25, 2023 by Anbaric
madNbad Posted April 25, 2023 Share #3 Posted April 25, 2023 Nikon SC-28 or SC-17. The SC-28 has a locking foot so the cord won't pop out of the hot shoe. Both cords have the same contact pattern as the shoe on your TTL and will transmit all the data. I used a SC-28 with two different M6 TTL and a SF-24d over a number of years and never had a problem. It even gives you the little flashing lightning bolt in the viewfinder for illumination conformation. Welcome to the forum!

Huss Posted April 25, 2023 Share #5 Posted April 25, 2023 This is meant to be the same as the SC-28, but a fraction of the price. FYI I only found out about it after seeing MadNBad's reply! Also, strangely enough, the 3ft length is cheaper than the 1.5 ft!
