Coding C/V 35 f2.5

Now I have a choice. I can code my new adapter for the C/V 35 f2.5 as a Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH (code 30 = 011110) or a Summarit-M 35mm f/2.5 (code 43 = 101011).

Any suggestions? I suppose I could try both (using some nail polish remover).

The technical answer is to choose whichever of the Leica lens is closest to the CV as regards the exit angle of the light out of the lens. Which is usually roughly inversely proportional to the distance from the last glass surface to the film place.

 

However, I suspect the above helps not at all. Best suggestion: just try and see.

I'd try the Summarit code first. Change from that only if needed.
