Hi all, I have recently bought an external video monitor for my SL2S (Atomos Shinobi) and noticed the autofocus is severely impaired when connected to the monitor both in photo and video mode. First I thought maybe the Shinobi is at fault, but then I tested a live-view feed through HDMI with several other devices and the result is always the same - the autofocus on all my lenses slows down to the extent it's almost unusable. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Can it be that the HDMI cable is at fault? I tested it with several different cables I have with the same result. They are admittedly a couple of years old, but HDMI 2.0 was released in 2013, I'm sure at least one of them is from that generation.

Btw. I want to use the monitor as an external viewfinder for still photography not video, but I hoped the autofocus would behave the same way as without the monitor. Right now I get a better result with a phone connected to the Fotos App, as this does not impact autofocus responsiveness.
