Q2 - alternative battery charger

The original battery charger for the Q2 comes - like most brands chargers - without the ability to charge from a powerbank. Its bulky, needs a power outlet and charges one battery at a time. For my Nikons there were several alternatives and reasonably priced. 

We often travel with a tent so we need to pack light and do not have access to a poweroutlet at all times. I googled for alternatives and found the Nitecore that is rather expensive and has very mixed reviews. There is also the totally overpriced dual charger from Leica for a whopping 400 Euros and a very cheap double charger from Alibaba for about 23 Euros.

Anyone here has experience with the cheap Alibaba charger? Or are there any other alternatives, reasonably priced, that are light and would charge from a powerbank?

crazy the nitecore thing sucks for me.. it works less than 50% of the time unless I'm using it WRONG? 

please share any tips as to what you plug yours into.. because I've tried power banks / my computer / the wall outlet and it just gives me EE everytime. 

maybe I just have a defect but it sucks that the only other charger is THEIR charger.

I use it with either my apple usb-c to usb adapter to my macbook charger or straight into my Leicke travel adapter and never gotten the EE. In what order to you connect? I think I generally connect the charger first and then the batteri. I never run batteries completely could that be why Im not affected?

Hey , there are some batteries from 2022 that make problems with the nitecore . 
all new batteries and old (prior to 2022 ) work just fine . 
 

i use Anker powerbank or a apple charger. 
 

and it’s much faster than the Leica one ….

I have Nitecore chargers for my Q2 and CL and both work without any problems.

interesting, theories and words .. where can I find the date of my batteries.. I got them ALL this year. 

i only was able to charge 1 of them.. and I tried almost every combo 

 

plugged in USB to MacBook first - then put battery on 

put battery on first - then plugged into MacBook 

 

plugged USB into charger first - then put battery on 

battery on first - then plugged USB into charger 

 

but also used several different types of charging and ALWAYS EE error .. 

its so annoying but I read about that before I got it and knew and understood.. 

 

but this new one that's a double charger on alibabba looks promising
