Renoir Posted April 14, 2023 Share #1 Posted April 14, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Good evening fellow Leica aficionatos, I was hoping some of you gentlemen / ladies can share some wisdom. I am in the market for a M11 monochrome camera, I currently own the M10 monochrome and would like to know what would be best option : 1: Trade in the M10 at a Leica store towards am m11. 2: Sell the camera on Ebay and purchase the m11 after. 3:Other? What do you fine people do these days when your want to upgrade? I used to sell my equipment on Ebay, but now Ebay charges taxes and takes 10%, it just no longer seems like a viable option. Any recommendations? Note, Option one seems inticing, but in Colorado there are no such store. Thank you!
Advertisement Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Hi Renoir, Take a look here Trade in, sell only, Ebay? M10m upgrade to M11m. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Almizilero Posted April 14, 2023 Share #2 Posted April 14, 2023 Depends on what you prefer. Trade in is less/no hassle and you probably get less money for it. At ebay, you might have to deal with idiot buyers, but should get more money, even with fees. Just check for how much the M10m has sold on ebay lately and see if the difference is worth it. That being said, at this price range, I'd prefer selling face to face. So trade in or private sale with pickup. Or at least sell at a place where people probably know what they're getting, like this forums marketplace Maybe have a look at MPB as well?
