photo app and geolocation (maybe a Q2 issue or LR issue ?)

good day all

the geolocation in "on" on my Q2 but it seems to work rather hectically, sometimes photos are marked, sometimes no, sometimes on the wrong place (linked to previous ones I think). Does anyone has a trick to ensure each photo or serve to be properly marked ? 

on the other hand is there a way to search for photos vie geolocation in LR ?
