OK, another paranoia, bear with me 😂

Hope anyone can do a quick check if the aperture ring has slight play/wiggle side way (in any of the detent)?

I was trying to move the aperture to A just to check the function and it required quite some force, then when it finally click into it, and back to 1.7, I start to notice the wiggle that I haven't notice before. It's probably there all the time 😂 I'm not worried if it's an M lens as it's mechanical and can be services but not sure if it's a sign of any sort on by wire lens, so just thought of doing a quick check with you guys and hope to get some responses 🙏🏻

I think it is just excess worry.

The lens goes into A easily...but takes more force to get it out of A...this I probably meant to be so that people who like to leave a lens on auto don't move it off of A accidentally.

And there is a minute amount of play...as you say it is a mechanical interface.

On mine it take as much force to go into A mode as going out. I bought it used but it didn't really get much use by the previous owner. It probably never enter the A mode prior to that...

But thanks for the report, I've read quite some reports of Q aperture ring  acting up and not reporting correct aperture value, hence the paranoia...
