If you process the file directly via LR, it will process and output as a DNG

Lens correction banding occurs on any camera when iso is high enough to make noise create a pattern.

I tried topaz with an rgb DNG converted file... it doesn't really work for my needs.

Unless there are alternatives, I think I'll have to live with banding...

Edit: do you mind sharing your process on topaz? It seems you squeezed out of it more than I can.

Ahh, thanks for the explanation.

As you know, Topaz has a multiple programs. This is with Topaz AI, their all in one package. For this photo, I just hit the correct button with no other tweaking.
