Hi guys,

I'm wondering if my M8 might have a defective Lens code identifier...?

It has been working great sofar with self coded lenses, now suddenly it's not working....

So this week I'm borrowing a Dymo machine, and following Manuels Dymo coding principle, I'm going to find out if there is a problem....

But has this happened before?

It's been working fine for a month, and suddenly no lens gets identified anymore!

IR+ LENS DETECTION is ON.

How are you self coding? It could be that some of the ink has worn off as the lenses are fitted and removed.

don't forget to check your Exif file of your picts. I coded my Ultron 28/1,9 as the Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH with the dymo method.

Eureka, I had the 28mm listed in the info window on the LCD screen, and also in Lightroom everything seemed oké.

But when I opend the EXIF file, the info mentioned: lens 28mm and max apperture f4,

this is to my knowledge the reading of the Tri-Elmar-M 28-35-50mm f/4.
