bertgossen Posted November 4, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 4, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I have owned my m8 for 6 months now and taken about 8000 photos with it. I love to use the scroll wheel to zoom in after taking a picture and check the focus. I have used this function a lot. For a while I have noticed white fuss/specs coming out of the inside of the small gap/separation between the wheel itself and the round part that has the arrow buttons (see attached picture). I also noticed, that the wheel doesn't turn that easily anymore, sometimes I have to use to fingers in order to turn it. I suspect, that the white specs are part of some plastic lubricant, that works itself out while I am turning the wheel. I think I will have to send in the camera for service, but I wanted to check first whether other users have had the same problem? Bert

atufte Posted November 4, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 4, 2007 I also have this "problem", and my solution thus far is to not push as hard on the scroll wheel and it will turn "smoothly" but i think i have to send it in some time if it gets worse, this is a warranty issue for sure.. :-)
