Advertisement Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Hi stunsworth, Take a look here One of _those_ cars. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted August 20, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 20, 2006 He'll have the boys in blue after him... Our local garage has "M16 MOG" in the showroom at the moment, so if anyone wants to buy it, they can PayPal me the cash. The greyscale converter you use is very good, I reckon, Steve. stunsworth Posted August 20, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted August 20, 2006 He'll have the boys in blue after him... Yes, I thought the same thing :-) The plugin is very good, nothing I'm sure that can't be done 'longhand' in Photoshop, but it makes conversions quick and consistent. abrewer Posted August 20, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 20, 2006 Fine-looking picture Steve. I'm in agreement with Andy...your B&W conversion software is working marvelously well. I was in a large, decades-old automotive education facility here in town yesterday. It's lobby is lined with great B&W photos of cars from the past--all done professionally. I must say I saw nothing on their walls that betters this shot of yours. Thanks for sharing. Allan
stunsworth Posted August 20, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted August 20, 2006 Thanks Allan. I'd pretty much decided before I went that I was going to go for close up shots of the cars. Truth to tell after 100 frames or so I got bored, and it started to rain, so I went home. Being overcast didn't bother me becasue I didn't really want very bright light, but the rain was annoying :-) Something to consider again next year. The only problem I had was when I photographed an Autotrader stall - a woman ran across and asked me what I was doing.
