echogallery Posted August 20, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 20, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Visited Princeton Cemetery yesterday. I had forgotten that Aaron Burr was buried there. Many know him only as the person who shot Alexander Hamilton in a duel in the early years of the history of the United States. There's lots more to the story of the man who was also Vice President, a New York politico, and an ambassador. If you're not bothered by walking through a cemetary, this one is Princeton is very interesting. Gary
Advertisement Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Hi echogallery, Take a look here Aaron Burr's Tombstone. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest rubidium Posted August 21, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 21, 2006 Interesting. Speaking of Hamilton [and Edison (in your other shot)], you would probably enjoy taking your camera to The Great Falls Generating Station on the Passaic River in Paterson. echogallery Posted August 22, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted August 22, 2006 Hi Jim, Good suggestion. I'll put that on the short list. I was taking my son around this past Saturday to help him freshen his portfolio, so we were letting the GPS take us from landmark to landmark. We got some decent shots out of it, but I enjoyed the time with him even more. Gary
