Hi,

yesterday I was out for a shooting in the mountains. The EVF 2 was behaving strangely: if I'd switch the camera on, everything was ok, but after the first shot the camera keeps erratically switching from EFV and LCD, no matter what I do.

Once at home normal behaviour resumed. I have only two explanations: 1) it was too cold for the EVF to operate correctly 2) Snowflakes on the LCD / EVF

What do you think?

By the way. On the M10-R I have the EVF 2 also starts to behave strangely after a while a shoot. When I switch the camera on sometimes, the EVF (or the LCD) shows a screen like your TV when it gets a distorted or encrypted signal. After a few seconds (30-40) it starts operate correctly, more or less...

Thank you

This is what I had going on with my VF2, which is now back at Leica. I could not come up with a good pattern of when/why and the contacts on both the camera and VF2 were clean and cleaned more.
