In a few days i will recieve a used Leica Summilux 35mm 1.4 ASPH Titan serial nr. 3705795 I guess it´s only titan finish on the outside, but is it made of brass or aluminium? phong Posted October 27, 2007 Share #2 Posted October 27, 2007 I have this lens for about ten years now, and it's my favorite lens on film (full frame). It has the smoothest focus action I have ever seen in a Leica lens. The titanium is only in the finish; the lens is made of brass, like the silver version I believe.
