Made a stupid mistake. I pulled the advance lever while the shutter is open and ruined my M7

My Brooks Plaubel Veriwide, Zeiss Contessa and Voigtlander Nettar have the shutter cocking action separate from the film advance mechanism.  But Leica introduced shutter cocking linked to film advance back when they released the Leica 1a in 1931.  Maybe even earlier than that.
