Lightroom Problem - any ideas?

I'm finding a small problem with using Lightroom and the Lightroom forum FAQ's don't seem to have the answer. Before I ask there I thought I would try here first.

 

In the LR Help it says that to add photos to a Collection one should select them in the Grid view and drag to the collection. Nope! doesn't work. Any ideas? Possible settings or menu options that I have missed despite extensive searching?

Don't know if this will help, but you have to drag by putting your cursor on the image itself. It won't work if you drag from the grey frame surrounding the image.

 

Hope this works. If not, does it drag at all? Does it drag, but not go into the collection?

Ha - solved! Adobe could have been clearer about this in the instructions and it's not that intuitive. One must apparently drag the photo itself, not click anywhere other than the actual photo - e.g. anywhere on the border. Then it works, and apparently it works for multiple photos also as long as you click on the photos to select.
