New Leica Q2 *DOA* Macro to Normal function issue.

I'm just writing this as reference to others whom may experience this in the future with their brand new Q2 and what I experienced as a result.

The issue with my new Q2 was a with the macro function ring. Switching from Macro to Normal mode is just a matter of lining  the two dots for normal mode or turning the ring all the way to macro for that mode.  Macro function worked fine but returning to normal mode was problematic. When the two dots were aligned the screen would go black but information regarding exposure and such would remain. This is in contrast to the screen going totally black when the EVF senses its use. Fiddling with the ring with slight pressure or off setting the the dots would help with live view returning but was fickle and resulted in the screen going from black to live view sporadically. 

Anyway as how I just purchased the camera the day before I was given a different one which of course worked just fine. 

The camera is great and even with a bit of hassle I'm still very happy for my purchase.

Good to hear your issue was promptly resolved by Leica and you can now go forth and take lots of photos.
