That might be confusing for someone new to M and SL cameras. Since the M9/10/11 body looks similar in thickness to the core of the SL body, they may incorrect assume a similar flange distance. It's always a bit disconcerting at first to see how thick the SL body becomes with an M adapter attached to it compared to the M9/10/11.
