Mr Fjeld Posted August 31, 2016 Share #184 Posted August 31, 2016 Drazgose war memorial, Slovenia, which commemorates the battle between Slovene partisans and Nazi Germany armed forces, which took place between 9 and 11 January 1942. I'm a huge fan of your pictures Giulio! This one is perhaps the one I like the best so far, simply because it has room for a human being. Art in totalitarian regimes have traditionally been ugly, blunt, monumental and megalomaniacal - and always huge! Your style of photography and the use of black and white serves to strengthen these traits - and then sometimes turn them into something beautiful. Keep them coming!
Mr Fjeld Posted August 31, 2016 Share #185 Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) I was out taking a few pictures yesterday evening when this little girl caught my attention. She was running around like mad hunting high and low for bubbles to punch. Edited August 31, 2016 by Mr Fjeld 7

Wayne Posted September 6, 2016 Share #198 Posted September 6, 2016 "Sunset in Ljubanista, Macedonia. Typ 246 + R PC 28" Giulio, Thanks for this series of photos. It is impossible for me to express how or why, but these monuments capture, perfectly, what I have always imagined was the character of the societies that constructed them. Your presentations of them are magnificent.
