pechelman Posted July 17, 2017 Share #493 Posted July 17, 2017 been doing a bit of traveling and just havent had time to process any photos until this past weekend. Sharing a handful from recent family visits around North Carolina. All with the 50 apo and 246. M1004061 by pechelman this is an old cabin just below the childhood house i grew up in, so it has some sentimental value to me. Surprised it hasnt changed at all...i.e. surprised it's still standing! Popular Post reddott Posted July 20, 2017 Popular Post Share #495 Posted July 20, 2017 (edited) I recently had one of my Monochrom shots enlarged for a wall mural for our reception area in the office and was blown away by the detail that this print held. Overall dims for the enlargement are 166" x 120". You can look into the building windows and see what's inside these rooms. Even at this size there is minimal grain. The original (below) was shot with a Tri-Elmer 16-18-21 at ISO 800. mhicks Posted July 20, 2017 Share #496 Posted July 20, 2017 21 SEM / Heliopan IR 715 @ 6400 ASA Infrared Shack.jpg This is art to me. I was raised in the US Midwest and this is such a common sight (besides the fact it's on a hill, that is ). The sense of nostalgia it evokes causes a momentary pause in wandering and gives rise to reflections on different times in my life. Great photo!
