leicamann Posted August 18, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 18, 2006 I hope you don't mind the levels are way out of whack, its a great shot, full of serenity. Tell me if you want me to post my version. Thanks for your post. Regards, Leicamann:)
mikej Posted August 18, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted August 18, 2006 Hi, John - sure, go ahead and post. I never do anything to my shots after pushing the button, so that I can get a feel for what I'm doing right or wrong. No adjustments during the scan either. mikej Posted August 19, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted August 19, 2006 Ah, much better. Thanks, John. It is one of my favorite spots, and you can only get there in the summer when the water is low enough. Mike
squiff Posted August 19, 2006 Share #6 Posted August 19, 2006 The Potomac is a very beautiful place, you have done a great job of capturing the serenity, I like it very much s
mikej Posted August 19, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted August 19, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for taking a look, Stephanie. While I think John's version is idyllic and artful, the original was a bit closer to what I actually saw. It was a very sunny day and the sun comes through strongly in portions of this area. Luckily, everyone saw the serenity, which is the best emotional description of the spot. Next time I'll bracket a bit! Cheers, Mike
