Advertisement Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Hi bigbird123, Take a look here Leica T not keep date / time. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
DenverSteve Posted January 11, 2023 Share #2  Posted January 11, 2023 According to Leica, and your owner's manual it has (like many/most electronics) an internal battery that should hold your settings for 2-5 days. Straight out of the owner's manual - "settings are retained for around 2 days thanks to the built-in back-up battery. However, they then have to be reset." -  So, if you're removing the battery properly, with the power turned off, and your settings aren't holding (after a full reset and set up) then, my guess, is that your internal battery is kaput. It may need repaired.
bigbird123 Posted January 12, 2023 Author Share #3  Posted January 12, 2023 (edited) Thanks !  Yeah, I think so, the battery must be dead. Need to figure out where the button cell battery ( I assume ) is hiding. Edited January 12, 2023 by bigbird123

Need to figure out where the button cell battery ( I assume ) is hiding. It's likely soldered and not a regular button cell. In the UK, David Slater can probably replace the internal battery: Camera Focus (Camera Repairs) 121 Layhams Road West Wickham, Kent BR4 9HE United Kingdom david.slater2@icloud.com 07789 546584  Edited January 12, 2023 by dkCambridgeshire
