Advertisement Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Hi rob_x2004, Take a look here What kind of LEICA is best for.....?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Adrian Strooper Posted October 20, 2007 Share #22 Posted October 20, 2007 My advice would be to go to a reputable shop and check them out in person. Find the one in the best condition for the smallest price and go from there. They are all great! I balked at not having a meter in my M2 at first, but it is actually really good for you. Memorize readings that you take or keep them in a note pad. eg. When I was in New York and before it was a federal offence...I memorized the meter reading in the subway. Makes everything really quick! Because you can prepare in advance, something that a meter can never do. Of course having an inbuilt meter is handy.... Yes you make blunders sometimes but that'll happen anyway. By the way Rob! M2's rock! Stroop
