Its interesting, I think we'll see a lot more mergers, alliances and shared IP as analogue photography settles down to its niche and companies search for a way to share costs.

I think though for film to really survive it will have to get slightly more expensive, especially colour; in fact we could go back to the 60's and 70's where colour was several times the price of B&W.

 

The Kodak story I think is just a storm in a tea cup, film is far from dead we haven't hit the bottom of the curve yet, it will be an interesting couple of years ahead (in fact I'm looking forward to the niche situation)
