bnelsch Posted October 15, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted October 15, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Help. I was shooting a ballroom dance performance last night with my R8/DMG combination and it seems that one of the SD cards that I was using must have been bad. I have 49 files, all the appropriate size (19mg) but I am unable open in either CaptureOne, Lightroom, ACR or Picassa. Clearly the files are damaged but are there any 'rescue' programs out there? fjmcsu Posted October 15, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted October 15, 2007 Bill, I used this program on files that i knew were on my SD card but could not be opened. You will need to convert them to DNG from the recovered tif files but all the functionality seemed to be there for RAW work. bnelsch Posted October 15, 2007 Author Share #3 Â Posted October 15, 2007 Thanks Francisco! Next, what are you using to convert the .tif files to .dng? I recovered the files but they only show up as 19meg thumbnails.
gesper Posted October 16, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted October 16, 2007 I had this happen and was able to save the DNG files using PhotoRescue 3.0.
