Hi Matt,

Echoing what Dennis said, it is a wonderful city with plenty to photograph. The festivals, the dancing in the main square, the colour... And, the food!

I'd love to get back there someday, and I'd encourage anyone thinking of a holiday that is brilliant for photography to put Oaxaca at the very top of their list.

Hi Matt,

I will be in Oaxaca Feb 15 - Mar 01 and I would very much like to meet you there. First time there and the only other time I was in Mexico was 1968. A lifetime ago.

Reading the entry requirements for Mexico (we are flying PHL-DFW-OAX) are cameras considered personal belongings? I have a Q2 that is over $500. Isn't that a surprise?:>)

I'm impatient to get there, I've heard so many great things about Oaxaca.
