I spot a professional wedding photographer in a wedding, who usually carrying Cannon like lens and DSLR, but this time he is a guest and only has a Dlux 7.  I asked where are his usual weapon.

”Oh, I am not working today, I don’t need to impress my client! This is my real camera!”

It happens.  The D-lux 7 produces excellent results especially if you don't need to produce large prints.  It's a great (almost) pocket-sized camera that has good video and excellent photos.  It is easily capable of excellent 18 x 24 photos.  That's more than most weddings would ever need.
