Venkman Posted October 9, 2007 Share #1  Posted October 9, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just stumbled today over a news item mentioning this service - so I thought I give it a go (it's for free).  In case you wonder what it does - it resizes images by some magic trick which is basically removing information not "needed". Kinda hard to explain, so I show you one result:  first picture is the original JPEG second the resized one - 190 pixels less wide, but the same picture with same height. [edit] third one has some sky added.  Can you spot the difference?  Maybe not really a highly useful thing, but you can also ADD additional space...see pic 3.  If you want to check it out: rsizr - intelligent image resizing Or here for some more info: rsizr lets you intelligently resize your images — about  The quality of my examples isn't great - I started out with a JPEG and saves the results at 70%. Also, I don't like the adding of space as much as I do like the tightening feature.  Dirk
