Einst_Stein Posted November 29, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted November 29, 2022 This is partly hypothetical. I imaging the camera is shooting very low resolution on a large SD. The SD has stored the image of all series number. If the camera forces to roll over, it would damage the existing image. The only logical solution is giving warning to users, but I doubt it has been prepared to do so. Recently my Leica XV stopped to store images without any warning. I though it was gone, but fortunately I got the advise to reset the image number and fixed the problem. People interested in this issue can go to Leica Forum to checkout the talk, Anyway, the suggestion is to reset the Image number once for a while. And suggest camera makers to watch this issue if not yet.
