From another Photography Forum, I was made aware of some pretty amazing prices on CF and SD cards at the superstore Costco. For example, $128 for an 8 gig SanDisk Extreme III CF card.

I am not affiliated with Costco. I just thought these prices were pretty amazing and that many of our members could benefit. Also, be aware that I walked into the store in San Francisco and none of these products were on the shelf, so it may be web only.

Cheers,

I have bought all my memory there, bith at the sotre and the web site. When I have problems with cards, I just bring them back to the local store and get a full refund.

I was in the store a few days ago and they had 4gb Sandisk Ultra II SDHC for $79. Too bad these cards don't work in the M8 or DMR.

For once there's something cheaper in Europe (ok it's not the same card). Amazon are selling the Transcend 150x 4 gig card for less than $80 <grin>

And it does work in the M8.

I had a pair of those and one went flakey, so I took both back to Costco. They refunded with no questions asked.

The one that went bad I traced to the case coming apart. I figured if one could do it both could, so returned the two.
