Guest WPalank Posted October 5, 2007 Share #1  Posted October 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) From another Photography Forum, I was made aware of some pretty amazing prices on CF and SD cards at the superstore Costco. For example, $128 for an 8 gig SanDisk Extreme III CF card. http://www.costco.com/Common/Search.aspx?whse=BC&topnav=&search=Sandisk9&N=0&Ntt=Sandisk9&cm_mmc=BCEmail_231wc-_-Focus-_-9-_-SandiskExtremeIII_BCEmail_231wc  I am not affiliated with Costco. I just thought these prices were pretty amazing and that many of our members could benefit. Also, be aware that I walked into the store in San Francisco and none of these products were on the shelf, so it may be web only. Cheers,

robsteve Posted October 5, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted October 5, 2007 I have bought all my memory there, bith at the sotre and the web site. When I have problems with cards, I just bring them back to the local store and get a full refund. Â I was in the store a few days ago and they had 4gb Sandisk Ultra II SDHC for $79. Too bad these cards don't work in the M8 or DMR.
stunsworth Posted October 5, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted October 5, 2007 For once there's something cheaper in Europe (ok it's not the same card). Amazon are selling the Transcend 150x 4 gig card for less than $80 <grin> Â And it does work in the M8. They refunded with no questions asked.  The one that went bad I traced to the case coming apart. I figured if one could do it both could, so returned the two.  Robert
