sparkie Posted October 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can someone let me know the cost of one of these from John. I tried his website http://www.milich.com/ but it was 'unavailable'. And timeframes for availability/delivery Apart from using it with a E49 Leica IR Cut filter, is there anything else I need to be aware of Can one be ordered on ebay, or just from John directly? Any chance of getting these in the UK TIA
Advertisement Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Hi sparkie, Take a look here Price of Milich WATE filter holder?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tpenate2 Posted October 5, 2007 Share #2 Posted October 5, 2007 Sparkie, I sent him an e-mail (jm@milich.com) about ten days ago or so inquiring if they were available. He responded the next day with availability confirmation and ordering instructions; these mention the possibility of having them shipped to Europe, although at an additional cost. I sent payment via PayPal and he's shipped it, I should receive it any day... Just send him an e-mail. Other than the filter from Leica I don't believe we'll need anything else. Good luck! sparkie Posted October 5, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted October 5, 2007 Thanks for the reponse Antonio. John, I have a CV15 and I read on one of the threads that you make a UV/IR filter adapter for this lens as well. And the M mount ring for coding this lens. What filter size goes with this filter adapter? Can you give me an idea of cost for each and shipping costs to the UK (london) and shipping times. Have you got photos of all your creations you could post? Many thanks
GarethC Posted October 5, 2007 Share #6 Posted October 5, 2007 Sparkie, 39mm. You won't need photos, they look professionally done. Your only challenge will be a lens cap because it seems that has everybody stumped. I'm told 62mm. For now, my solution is a bag of blister wrap.
