techpan Posted October 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just took some sample shots using my Summicon 50mm Jahre Edtion and was impressed at how spot on the focusing is. I have other lenses including many newer ASPH models that I have sent to leica for coding and calibration but my current Summicron focuses better than my ASPH models. Putts has stated that the machining tolerances for the summicron special edition are higher which I guess is the reason for the spot on focusing.
