MindsEye Posted October 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone know if there would be any problem using the Voigtlander LH-5 hood with a Zeiss Biogon 35 f2 ZM M-mount? I can't seem to find the official Zeiss shade in stock from any of my trusted suppliers. The LH-5 is technically for the Nokton 40mm but I noticed someone sold a 35 ZM lens with this shade and described as "identical" to the Zeiss hood. Spec-wise both lenses have 43mm filter thread but of course I would be concerned about the focal length difference. If any of you have experience with this combo I'd appreciate your input. Thanks. etrigan63 Posted October 5, 2007 Share #2 Posted October 5, 2007 It works fine. No vignetting.
MindsEye Posted October 5, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted October 5, 2007 Another 2 questions on this combo Any problems fitting the shade over a B+W UV/IR (486) standard mount filter? Any blocking of the 35 frame line with this shade? Thanks!
