My M8 and three lenses were shipped to Solms to get the shutter fixed and the focus checked and adjusted on three lenses. Also I wanted to get a 21 Elmarity coded. Solms confirmed before I sent the stuff over that they would have it for "10-12 days" It's now almost two and a half months later and I still don't have my gear. Apparently they did the repairs and adjustements and then it got lost in their system somehow. Also my emails to them which were sent {as replies to their emails} somehow got blocked by their spam filter???? Not very plausible in my book. Now the gear has apparently been shipped by DHL but it's twelve days later and no sign of it yet. There are daily flights from Frankfurt to Vancouver so DHL's expertise seems to be in storage and not shipping! Also tracking number given by Solms does not work on DHL website so I have no idea of the progress of the package. No response yet to my emails from Solms - perhaps the spam filter is the culprit again. Incidentally I shipped the stuff over to Solms by FedEx and it took two days to get there.
