-MR- Posted November 12, 2022 Share #1 Posted November 12, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Lets talk about dust! Do you ever had dust on the sensor of your Q2? Is dust an issue? Or do you always have a perfectly clear sensor because the lens is not interchangeable? Thank you!

Guest Posted November 14, 2022 Share #3 Posted November 14, 2022 (edited) Maybe it’s not an issue for folks, as it’s easily removed in post processing, if it’s present. EDIT: Looking at your previous posts it looks like you do not have a Q2 yet. So I wouldn’t worry about dust, just get the camera you want and enjoy. bobtodrick Posted November 14, 2022 Share #4 Posted November 14, 2022 In my opinion the whole dust issue with the Q was overblown...and the Q2 has much better weather sealing. I personally know of eleven people with Q's (I'm a dealer in Canada). None have ever expressed a dust problem, and some of these cameras are now 5-6 years old. That being said everytime I have sold one I recommend people put a small piece of tape over the mic and speaker holes, where it was determined dust could enter. For the most part a non-issue IMO. 2
Pelu2010 Posted November 16, 2022 Share #5 Posted November 16, 2022 So since I own the q2 , I am dust free. does it matter , no . sometimes I am thinking that the image looks so clear. Then I introduce a little dust. Grain and other stuff to give the image more pop or punch ….
