Advertisement Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Hi goodbokeh, Take a look here Panasonic Four Thirds 25mm/1.4 @ B&H. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
disconnekt Posted October 7, 2007 Author Share #22 Â Posted October 7, 2007 I'm the one who started this thread and sadly I have had to cancel my order. I just can't afford it right now. I see that they are still listed as in stock on B&H's website, so that gives me hope that they will still be available as soon as I can afford one. goodbokeh Posted October 13, 2007 Share #24 Â Posted October 13, 2007 I received my Summilux today. Gosh, it is a very nice lens! As a follow up from earlier discussions about the Summilux possibly being somehow updated, my lens has version 1.1 firmware..... The viewfinder is nice and bright and tomorrow I plan to take fall color photos with some wide open bokeh.

mym6is12 Posted November 16, 2007 Share #26  Posted November 16, 2007 Ffordes are listing a used Panasonic 25/1.4 at a saving of £200 on new price ...dunk  That's about £60 cheaper than importing from B&H ( inc. UK duty). Just my luck as mine is sitting in the UPS depot for me to collect on Monday - and pay the VAT :-(.  Ffordes even have my order for the E-3 to mount it on - due in next week they say. MJLogan Posted November 16, 2007 Share #27 Â Posted November 16, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) B&H have had it in stock for several days now. Usually it shows up and then disappears within hours. I bought my 25mm months ago and love it--I've been haunting the B&H site again lately, waiting for the 14-150 to show up. rosuna Posted November 16, 2007 Share #28 Â Posted November 16, 2007 The LFi article was a bit cold, I don't know why. Â I would like to see those fall pictures!

goodbokeh Posted November 18, 2007 Share #30 Â Posted November 18, 2007 Digital cameras, all other cameras and everything photographic from Adorama Camera carries the item for the same price. Â It's not in stock at Adorama but still is at B&H. This is a very nice lens and I'm glad I purchased mine in September when B&H had them in stock. Its' exterior design reminds me a lot of the Noctilux in shape and the way it tapers down at the mount. It is a very sharp lens, even wide open. I don't see any barrel distortion normally associated with fast primes. Â Just imagine the 25mm Summilux with the new Olympus E3 with its built in stabilization and high ISO performance.
