henryzwartz Posted October 31, 2022 Share #1  Posted October 31, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) WANTED: My old M6 TTL. (Serial number: 2466921) Hi all, My name is Henry. I'm a reporter based in Sydney, Australia. I am trying to track down a black Leica M6TTL with a modified lever (from an M2/M3) I sold some years ago in Australia when I was hard up. It was a regretful sale based on necessity at the time. I am wondering if I could try and buy it back. It has legitimate war zone bona fides from when I was based overseas as a correspondent. I've attached a few images I took with that M6TTL while covering ethnic conflict in Myanmar. I have the serial number: 2466921 Thanks for you help!  Welcome, dear visitor! stray cat Posted November 1, 2022 Share #2 Â Posted November 1, 2022 Best of luck in finding it Henry. Where abouts - what state/city - and how long ago did you sell it?
henryzwartz Posted November 1, 2022 Author Share #3 Â Posted November 1, 2022 Hi Phil, Thank you. I would have sold it circa 2014 in Sydney, Australia. It was sold through a store called Mainline Photo but sadly they have lost their records.
IanH Posted November 1, 2022 Share #4  Posted November 1, 2022 Best of luck @henryzwartz. I’m also Sydney based. It sounds as though somebody may remember it with the modified film advance. Maybe check with some of those that service Leica in the city like Paul Lee at Sydney Camera repairs?

Keith (M) Posted November 1, 2022 Share #8 Â Posted November 1, 2022 (edited) The website Macfilos has lots of Leica-owning participants, including quite a few in Oz. Â An email to owner Mike Evans about your search endeavours and the Myanmar photos could create some interest and maybe... Good luck!
