Carl Posted September 24, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello! Since a few months back I am living in Hamburg and I just wonder if anyone in this forum know or have any tipps for a god lab in the city, both for just developing and printing. Thank you! Carl Posted September 24, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted September 24, 2007 Hi! Thank you! I've been to some of them, for example Wiesenhavern and a few Photo Dose. PPS looks interesting, I think I'll go there this afternoon after work and develop a roll of film. Thank you and best regards! Carl
christer Posted September 24, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 24, 2007 why don't you post in the film section of the german forum? that will give you more answers. btw are you talking color or b+w? chris
Carl Posted September 24, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted September 24, 2007 Hi Chris! Yeah, I just came to think about that it might be a good idea to make a post in the german forum....I blame it on the fact that it is a monday that it took a while for my brain :-) And your question: 99% of my pictures are in colour. Best regards Carl

Carl Posted October 1, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted October 1, 2007 Hi! Thank you again for all the tipps! i've been to the shop by Colonnaden to check out some Leica stuff before, but I didn't know that they also developed films. But what they do have is a big Leica M3-replica in their showbooth at U-Bahn Stephansplatz, I guess you have seen that. Real funny! However, I picked up a roll of diafilm from PPS the other day and I was more than satisfied with the result! To be honest, I haven't used dia before for the simple reason that I was afraid that I would only look at the slides when i picked them up and then put them in a shoebox. But now I have FINALLY bought myself a negativscanner so now I have entered the world of Fujichrome and Ektachrome. And I love it, it is just as good as I expected! I will post some examples in this forum when I come back from work. I will try out the other labs as well and once again thanks for the advices.
