Hi everyone!

Yep, like described above.
Just picked up the M10 Monochrome last week in Wetzlar.

Problem:

I get a distorted image in the Visoflex2 when using the M10 Monochrome. Latest Firmware installed: 4.22.11.51

What I tried:

The Visoflex2 works perfectly with my M11 and the M10R.

The Visoflex 020 works perfectly with the M10 Monochrome.

I would love to use just the Visoflex 2 and don't want to carry two Visoflex, since I'm only using it for my 90mm and the WATE.

Thanks so much for any ideas, how to get the Visoflex2 working with my M10 Monochrome.

Best regards

Sebastian

I recently bought M11 + Visoflex2 and as a M10M owner I obviously tried the new Visoflex2 on the M10M and having read your post I just tried it out again.  Both times the combination worked perfectly.  Hope you are able to find out the cause(s) of your problem.

I just received a Visoflex 2 and using a M10M (firmware version 4.22.23.34) and about 50% of the time I bring the Visoflex to my eye (switching between LCD and Visoflex) I get red horizontal lines across the [Visoflex] screen. I've cleaned the contacts on both the camera and Visoflex and it appears to make a solid connection when mounting it. Unsure as to the problems.

I have both the M10R and the M11m. With the M11m I have no problems. But with M10R the Visoflex 2 starts to behave strangely after a while that I have used the camera. If I switch the camera on, then I get the screen like when the TV set is receiving a scrambled signal. I have to wait then a few seconds before normal behaviour resumes. Occasionally, I also notice freezes that force me to extract the battery (I suspect they are caused by the Visoflex)

Yes, mine also scrambles and goes red. it happens often. Sometimes it resets after a shot and sometimes I have to turn off LV and turn it back on.

It's usable but frustrating, I'm considering selling the Visoflex 2 and picking up the old model if there is no fix.

I suspect the issue is on the camera side. My VF2 went back to Leica and they said there wasn't anything wrong with it, which points to the M10M. I ended up selling the VF2 to someone with a M11, and it worked great for them. Now, i just use the older model. :-(

I'm thinking of doing the same.
