Getting started with Video on the SL2+ how to use LUTs

Hello all,

I have the SL2 and it has the current firmware installed. I would like to begin to use the video on the camera and start shooting some small mini comercials for fun and eventually for my wifes blog.

However i'm not sure where to start. I have done the simple tripod record her speaking, but that is just straight forward,I like to become a little more creative. So

1. Cini mode or Video mode?

2. How do shoot in LOG

3. I do have the atmos ninjav 

I really dig the pace of terrance mallick's film as well as the color in Wes Anderson's film.

I understand you want to learn.

you can search on this forum, there are good tips on how to set up video and how to use LUTs

Then I would go on you tube and look for how to do editing in Davinci Resolve

Soon you will up to speed how to set the camera, have enough power to run the camera and edit you color to what you like.

I am using the 8SINN cage what is so compact that is always on even then I just do photos.
