EVF color cast when changing settings

Having an odd problem with the metering modes.  If I change any of the focusing or exposure modes the EVF will show a red color cast and the image will not show automatically after it's taken.  If the camera is turned off and then on again, it works fine and the auto review shows the image for 3 seconds like it's set to do.  The same thing happens with the white balance.  If it's changed from say Auto to Daylight the EVF shows a red color cast. and like the metering issue if the camera is turned off and on it goes back to normal.  

The camera is practically new with only about 1200 clicks on it and while it's useable (and under warranty, these issues are annoying.  I have not tried resetting it (yet) but if the color cast problem is in the EVF resetting it won't solve the problems.  

Anyone experienced this?  It certainly is an odd thing and while I hate to be without it the best thing might be to send it back to Leica.
