I have bought 3 of these from the smaller dealers in the USA (eg Photographic Equipment | Digital Camera Accessories | Film Camera Accessories and http://www.melscamera.com) via ebay and the delivery charges were between $9 to $20 shipping through USPS about 10 days.

I find these devices to be excellent and do what it says on the box.

I recently spoke to the UK importer for Giottos Photopia who said that they were currently evaluating this product and would probably be importing it in the very near future

I'm using one of these. I got it from Popflash. They do a good job. But it is a little bit bigger than the frame around the LCD. I already had the lower left corner crack where it overshoots the edge of the frame. Plus, the upper left corner scratched the right lens of my glasses--fortunately to the outside of where I normally look through them.

A couple of pieces of black tape has fixed both issues.

I also am trepititious about a half-millimetre thin piece of glass, that doesn't sit flush against the LCD (because of the tape around the edges that holds it on). I can't imagine it'd take much of a blow to crack it, and probably do worse damage to the LCD than no protector at all. I cut a PDA protector to fit mine and after several months of regular use it has no scratches and isn't peeling. When it does, I'll cut a second one from the same sheet. Cost is about $1 each that way.

I have found that the product called DigiCOVER plus to be very good.It is a heavy duty plastic cover which sticks to the screen. They make a range of differant sizes including for the M8 and are a perfect fit.Care has to be taken when fitting them.It is important to follow he instructions exactly. At about £7 each in the UK they are not cheap but with care stay on once fitted.

If you use your camera in any way that might have something of any mass come into contact with the LCD, don't bother with these covers. I have them for my bodies and both hd multiple cracks within 3 weeks. Especially with two bodies, they can hit together picking them up etc and the weight of the M8 simply cracks these things immediately. If the glass actually laid flush against the LCD it might stand a chance, but I'm peeling both off and chucking them away. I'm going to revert back to "Invisible Shield" protectors which are incredibly strong.

Did you consider the DA protector? I got one for each of my 2 M8, they come custom cut for the screen's size and fit perfectly... I also have 2 for my D2xs, and they do a great job there as well.
