Victor B Posted September 15, 2022 Share #1 Posted September 15, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am using the Leica Q2 for astrophotography, where one must take many long-exposure photos. I use third-party software to reduce the noise by stacking several images. Fortunately, Leica Q2 already minimizes the noise by immediately taking "Dark frames" and subtracting them from the "Light frames." However, in astrophotography, there are also Bias frames and Flat frames. Presumably these still have to be obtained as Leica Q2 only accounts for the Dark frames? Attached is an image of the Pleiades (aka "seven sisters" in blue) and Mars taken with the Leica Q2 in Maine last month. Welcome, dear visitor!
