Hello everybody. I own an SL2-S and a M10. I’m considering to get a TTartisan 90 mm super fast lens. As I plan to use only on SL2-S, exploiting the integrated EVF, I am considering to get the cheaper L mount version rather than M mount. Does anyone know if there is any reason to prefer the M mount version? I already have the M to L adaptor so I can also adapt the M version to the SL2-S. I didn’t find any side by side comparison, so I would appreciate any comments or advice from the community

They should be the same lens optically, however the M version has a rangefinder cam.

The advantages of the M version is that it can be used on your M-10, and it may have a higher resale value if you decide to sell it (because M lenses can be adapted to almost any mirrorless camera).

The disadvantage is the price, and the bother of juggling with adapters if you switch lenses often.

I would never ever put this brik on my M10r!
I have this lens with L-Mount now but will sell it as I got a Summilux-M 75mm that is more appropriate for a M camera and excellent to put on my SL2-S.

I would do the same in your shoes. By the way, how does it behave on SL2-S?

I'm using the M Mount version as ingitnit before there was an L Mount version.  I use it all the time on my SL2 and SL601.  Plus the NISI close up filter is a perfect match to bring the focus distance down to about 25cm give or take.....
