gabriel Posted September 17, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am considering ordering one of these for my Wate. Does anybody know what one does for a cap with the adaptor in place. What is the actual price of the adaptor? I know that shipping to the UK is $

Hacker Posted September 17, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 17, 2007 I am considering ordering one of these for my Wate.Does anybody know what one does for a cap with the adaptor in place. What is the actual price of the adaptor? I know that shipping to the UK is $30 The adapter is US$150 and you are right, shipping is US$30. The beauty of John's adapter is that you use a smaller filter size (E49 less bulk vs E67) and you can have the WATE hood in place at the same time. pekem Posted September 17, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 17, 2007 $30 for shipping yes,but do not forget the Revenue charge plus the carrier money collection fee of about £8.00 Milich writes: WATE adapter: allows mounting the glass from a 49mm filter and the standard hood to the lens: A retaining ring for the glass is included. $150. black anodized. Retaining rings alone are $10. LTM8 adapter: allows mounting a leica thread mount lens to the M; can be self coded: $150 Cutting recesses in your Leica LTM adapter: $25. (Due to the step in the flange surface, you may have light leak problems affecting the code recognition. The LTM8 might be a better choice.) C/V adapters cannot be coded. Cutting recesses in your Zeiss M or Leica M bayonet flange: $25 (for Zeiss, this puts one recess in the screw area, but will still be codable), flange must be sent separated from the lens. C/V 12mm and 15mm filter adapters: uses 55mm (for 12mm lens) or 39mm (for 15mm lens) UV/IR filter: $150. black anodized. I will ship USPS, domestic, Add $30 for international shipping,
