Advertisement Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Hi delander †, Take a look here Classic Yorkshire Dale. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted September 17, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 17, 2007 A study in green! If you had stepped a pace to the right you would have given the important building more prominence and tidied up the composition, in my view. David
delander † Posted September 17, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted September 17, 2007 Thanks David for your comment. Can't remember exactly but a pace to the right and i might have been behind a bush. However I did take other shots see below. It really was this green.
Hodc Posted September 18, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 18, 2007 Wunderfull picture Jeff, for me its the presence off light that gives the atmosphere here. Well seen and good lightning. How do you obtain this light after compression? I tend too lose it in photoshops 'web-ready'-compression. met groet, Harry
delander † Posted September 18, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted September 18, 2007 Hi Harry, Actually I have not noticed web compression in Photoshop. I just crop it to 900x600 pixels and make a jpg small enough to be accepted by the LUF. But the originals look better. Swaledale is a very easy place to take a good looking photograph in early morning or late afternoon light. You can hardly put the camera down.
