mgermana Posted September 2, 2022 Share #1 Posted September 2, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, all. My trusty M240 has a new shutter problem. I'm trying to figure out if this is a mechanical issue that a CLA will fix or if it is an electronic problem that will be cost prohibitive to address. When I turn the camera on and take a picture at a shutter speed faster than 1/750, the first frame is overexposed by about a stop. Subsequent frames are properly exposed. If I turn the camera off and then back on again the same thing occurs. This isn't a problem at slower shutter speeds. FWIW, I was running the previous firmware when the problem started, and I have since updated to the current FW. But the problem persists. Any idea what's going on here? sdk Posted September 26, 2022 Share #2 Posted September 26, 2022 Try a full reset? If that does nothing it may be time for Leica to service it, or to consider an upgrade to an M11.
