falcon468 Posted August 19, 2022 Share #1 Posted August 19, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am a fanatic about battery life. I have to admit, and will pass this on to others like me, just put the camera in a short sleep mode. I was reticent to do this, but when it goes to sleep, it goes to sleep. Boots up quickly as well. I hope my experience will rub off on others who would just move their camera to the off mode between shots. I am free of guilt now, Thanks
Advertisement Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Hi falcon468, Take a look here Leica Q and on/off/ sleep mode. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Mikep996 Posted August 19, 2022 Share #2 Posted August 19, 2022 For me it depends on what I'll be shooting on a given day. Most of the time I use the sleep mode as described in post 1. Sometimes I turn the camera off between shots; sometimes I set it where it will not go to sleep at all so it's always "on" as long as the switch is on. Re battery life - I carry one spare battery when out with my Q2 but so far I have yet to actually need it.
